I try to watch Joel Osteen on Sunday mornings. His messages always makes me feel better. Joel has a way of teaching God’s word in a way I can relate to. This morning’s message was: God Loves Imperfect People. In it, Joel reminded me that Jesus died to forgive us of our sins. And because Jesus rose from the grave, every mistake we ever made or ever will be made has already been forgiven.
Unlike mankind, Jesus doesn’t hold grudges, or judge us when we make mistakes. Instead, He continues to love us, no matter what. We need to realize that we are not a surprise to Him. He knew everything about us before we were even born, and yet He chose to create us. He knows we’re not perfect and that we’ll make mistakes. How comforting is that!
Thank You, Jesus, for your mercy and everlasting love!!
