Tissue and Hand Sanitizer Holders For My Sister’s Clients for Christmas

11 Nov

This year it was easy to come up with a gift idea for my beautician sister that everyone could use. I had lots of waterproof canvas fabric leftover and it was perfect for sewing these Tissue and Hand Sanitizer Holders! It took me several attempts in designing them, but I finally got it right…on my third try, LOL!

I was so happy how well they turned out! You can use whatever fabric you have on hand. Just add some medium weight interfacing to lightweight cotton fabric like I did for the above two photos.

If you’re interested in making your own, here’s the link to the digital sewing pattern in my Etsy Shop! Once you make one, you’ll want to make one for everyone you know!

Until next time…Happy Sewing!

My First Aid Bag Sewing Pattern

19 Oct

bags and first aid ointment

This simple bag is one that I am so glad I created!  I’ve used it several times for myself, my husband and grand kids.  In fact, my grandson told me the other day when he needed a band-aid, “Grandma you’re always Prepared.”  Yep, it has really come in handy.

multiple black bags

My sister is a Beautician and had asked me to make her some for Christmas gifts for her clients.  I had lots of black fabric so I ordered multicolored zippers.  I liked how they turned out.

bag and supplies

The bag holds lots of stuff whether it’s just for you or for your whole family!  You can purchase the pattern with labels for $3.00 by emailing me…  Craftsy has decided to remove all but 4 of my patterns plus hundreds of other designers patterns!
